If you enroll in SMS messages, we also maintain records of your consent, the date and method of enrollment, message activity, and opt-out requests.
If you sign up for CNERD Forge updates, we store your email address and the date and wording of your consent. This list is separate from website analytics. If you schedule through Calendly or use another linked service, that provider collects information under its own privacy policy and may provide CNERD with the appointment details needed to respond.
2. Website Analytics
Public pages record page visits, searches, internal navigation, outbound link clicks, device and browser categories, operating system, referring URLs without query strings or fragments, and recognized marketing campaign labels for source, medium, campaign, and link content. We do not store the complete page query string. A random session identifier is kept in session storage only for the current tab. We record the public IP address of measured visits and use a database on our server to estimate city, state or region, and country. Visitor IP addresses are not sent to a third-party geolocation lookup service. IP addresses and approximate locations are visible only to authenticated website administrators. Search text is limited, and common email, phone, and credential patterns are redacted. Please do not enter personal information into site search.
Measurement is disabled when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also change your choice using the analytics control in the footer. Admin pages and authenticated administrator visits are excluded. IP-based geography is approximate, not GPS or a street address; VPNs, mobile networks, and shared connections can make it inaccurate. Referral observations show visits that reached this site, not a complete index of links on the web.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers, mobile carriers, and platform providers such as Mailchimp only as needed to operate the messaging program, deliver messages, prevent abuse, maintain consent records, or comply with law. Your SMS consent is not transferred to another organization for its independent marketing.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, scheduling, communications, analytics, security, and SMS delivery services. These providers may process information only to perform services for CNERD and are subject to their own legal and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable protections.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for third-party marketing.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
The website uses a first-party session identifier in session storage for audience measurement and protected server-side sessions for security and administration. We do not use third-party advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers. Your browser or device may provide controls for cookies, storage, Global Privacy Control, and Do Not Track.
7. Data Retention
Audience analytics events, including recorded IP addresses and approximate locations, are deleted after 90 days. Forge registrations are retained until you request removal or the list is no longer needed. SMS consent, opt-out, and message records may be retained as needed to operate the program, document compliance, resolve disputes, and meet legal or carrier requirements. Business communications and project records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the relationship or as required by law.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request removal from the Forge email list or ask a privacy question by contacting us below.
10. Third-Party Links
